We started this two-day installation project with meticulous attention to detail. The first phase involved careful preparation of the chimney breast, where we applied approximately 3.5m² of brick slips. Starting from the bottom and working upwards, we secured each slip with precision, later applying a sand and cement grout mixture to achieve an authentic brick fireplace appearance.

Our HETAS-certified team then proceeded with the flue installation, carefully lowering the 316 liner down the chimney. We installed the necessary adapter in preparation for day two’s stove installation, ensuring all components met the stringent requirements of current building regulations.

The second day saw us connecting the flue and adapter using a 500mm vitreous pipe. This critical connection phase demanded absolute precision to ensure optimal draw and maximum efficiency. The installation was completed with comprehensive testing and commissioning, ensuring that all safety parameters were met.
