Our team boarded the recess and selected brick slips to tile the interior, ensuring the finish was both aesthetically pleasing and in keeping with the bungalow’s traditional charm.

Crafting the Hearth: Measuring, Cutting, and Fitting the Slate

A critical aspect of the installation was crafting the slate hearth. Precision was key here—our team meticulously measured, cut, and fitted the slate to create a durable and visually striking base for the Stovax Stockton stove.

Installing the Selflex Liner: Ensuring Safety and Efficiency

Next, we installed a flexible Selflex liner, along with a pot hanging cowl, to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the stove.

Inside the bungalow, we fitted an adaptor and vitreous pipe to connect the liner to the stove.

The final stages involved lifting the Stovax Stockton stove into position and securely connecting it to the liner.

We then conducted a smoke test and took a flue draught reading to ensure everything was functioning perfectly.

To provide peace of mind, we fitted a carbon monoxide alarm and installed a data plate, documenting the installation details.
