Installation Highlights: The ACR Woodpecker WP5Q-P Multifuel Stove
Our project began with the customisation of a bespoke teardrop-shaped hearth, meticulously cut and fit to meet the customer’s unique request.
This step ensured the foundation of the stove was both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
We then proceeded with cutting and tiling to the required height using split-faced tiles, ensuring the installation adhered to all necessary regulations.
Positioning the stove at a precise 45-degree angle was crucial for optimal heat distribution and room aesthetics.
To achieve this, we carefully aligned the stove in line with the centre of the hearth, maintaining perfect level and symmetry.
Challenges and Solutions: Precision and Expertise in Stove Installation
One of the significant challenges we faced was creating a precise exit hole for the flue run through the wall. This required meticulous measurement and cutting at a 45-degree angle to ensure the flue’s seamless integration with the stove.
We ran the flue externally, navigating around existing windows and secured the structure with brackets every metre, adhering strictly to regulations.
To complete the flue installation, we fitted a cowl to ensure safety and functionality. We then sealed and filled the hole, making it watertight and fitting a finishing plate inside and out for an elegant finish.
